Arlo, Birth Kits and SAD lights…

So much has happened since my last blog. The most important is the birth of my little grandson Arlo weighing in at 9lbs. Through this event I have learnt about Biological Feeding and Cup Feeding for new borns. Biological feeding was pioneered by Suzanne coulson a midwife. I witnessed this when my daughter placed baby Arlo on her tummy and left him to root out where the breast milk was. Amazingly baby propelled himself forward until he found the breast and latched on. Having the homeopathic remedy birth kit at hand during labour and post labour was fantastic. It did enable my daughter to go almost to,the end without any intervention from medical drugs. Then as he got stuck she needed gas and air while they gave her a spinal tap for a possible emergency cesearian. Even then Aconite was administered to her and birth partners and one last push and baby was BORN…

As many of you will know I am very big on Tapping. I use this myself as way of handling crisis situations when I feel that I am losing the plot….Yes it does happen! Check out my facebook as there are a couple of very good You Tube videos on there relating to this technique.

Through two of my patients this week I have found One :a great website called Moonsong.com.au which is for any Mums or Dads even, who are interested in how they can use the Placenta once baby is born. If you have never thought about it or think it might be a bit gruesome… check it out it really is a lovely site with some beautiful case studies.
